Katherine Moloney is the Founder of Elevate(her) Aviation, a global organisation supporting women and young people into aviation careers across 144 countries. She began flying at 18 after a trial helicopter lesson changed the course of her life, going on to gain a private pilot licence in both helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft.

Now 27, she sits in a rare position: she understands the industry from the inside, and she also has the reach to influence what the next generation believes is possible. Through fully organic content across Instagram and TikTok, she has built a community of over 700,000 followers, documenting aviation as it actually is — training, discipline, standards, and the behind-the-scenes reality that most people never see.

Katherine has represented the industry as a UK Department for Transport Aviation Ambassador and has contributed internationally, including work connected to UN Women UK. In 2025, she was recognised with the IATA High Flyer Award, reflecting the impact of Elevate(her) and the wider movement she’s building.

Her talks are clear, practical and rooted in lived experience, focused on what will genuinely move the dial for aviation: keeping trained talent in the industry, building pathways that hold through life stages, and creating environments where women don’t feel they have to conform to be respected.
