Profile
Jay Worthy has spent his career at the sharp end of performance, scale, and decision-making.
Rising from personal trainer to Global CEO of Life Fitness, Jay went on to lead a billion-dollar organisation operating across multiple markets, functions, and cultures. His role demanded constant judgement under pressure: balancing growth with operational discipline, aligning diverse teams, and maintaining execution as complexity increased — including through a major private equity transition.
Today, as Global CEO of Myzone, Jay is responsible for steering a category-defining performance technology business through its next stage of global development. His focus is on scale, clarity, and execution; building systems that allow organisations and people to perform consistently over time.
Jay’s perspective on leadership and performance was sharpened by personal experience. After years operating at sustained intensity, he encountered burnout; a moment that led him to interrogate not ambition or effort, but the systems that govern human energy, decision quality, and long-term effectiveness.
Rather than stepping away from high performance, Jay went deeper. He built on his Masters in Human Performance Physiology with a Masters in Nature Connection & Wellbeing, uniquely combining academic rigour with billion dollar executive experience. This work now underpins his approach: helping leaders understand how curiosity, awareness, collaboration, and execution are either sustained or quietly eroded as pressure builds.
