Profile

Elizabeth Bullock is one of the few individuals to have spent three years operating in frontline areas of Ukraine. Just ten days after Russia’s full-scale invasion, she drove alone to Ukraine to evacuate civilians. What began as a plan to be there for a few weeks, turned into 1000 days of a war that would redefine her life.

Drawing on her background in technology start-ups and a family legacy of wartime resistance, Elizabeth co-founded and led British Expeditionary Aid & Rescue.  An independent, agile team, it executed strategic, high-stakes civilian support in some of the most dangerous operational environments.

From evacuating bedridden civilians ahead of the Russian advance, to executing  critical drinking water solutions after the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam, and rebuilding liberated villages reduced to rubble, Elizabeth’s approach was rooted in action, integrity and self-sufficiency.

Rejecting bureaucracy and performative aid, she led with the precision and mindset of a start-up - lean, adaptive and unequivocally focused on results. Her work has been documented by the BBC, The New York Times, Le Monde, The Washington Post, and in the feature documentary Dear Beautiful Beloved.

Today, having completed her work and returned to the UK, Elizabeth shares her hard-won insights with audiences who value truth over theory. Whether in boardrooms, think tanks or leadership forums, she delivers a rare combination of ground-truth experience and sharp strategic clarity.
